'The Witcher 3' DLC release date, news, updates: 'Blood and Wine' to include new villains, quests; Worldwide release in June?

The long wait of the fans for the upcoming "The Witcher 3" DLC pack will be cut short, if the latest rumors are to be believed. The next expansion pack of the highly popular open world shooter game by CD Projekt RED called "Blood and Wine" is reported by a Polish game resource website to be available in digital markets as early as June 7. This would dispel any claims that the scheduled release of the DLC pack will be delayed to a late 2016 timeframe.

The good news about the early June launching of "Blood and Wine" DLC set came first from the GRY Online website, a well-known and trusted gaming outlet stationed in Poland. CD Projekt RED is another Poland-based company and while news about the "The Witcher 3" DLC pack is already out in their country, they remain silent to neither confirm or deny any reports about their upcoming game project.

The early release date scoop, as also covered by Yibada, is considered to be a reliable information by many gaming enthusiasts. GRY Online was also the first source of hints about the upcoming "Blood and Wine" DLC pack which was reported in NeoGAF. However, one reason for the video game fans to not set their hopes too high is that the same game outlet reported once that "Blood and Wine" will be released at a much earlier date, April 26, thus hinting inconsistency on their reports.

There are reports that the production stage of the new DLC pack is still ongoing, and as reported by Designntrend, Polish voice actor Jacek Rozenek was still working in the studio to record sequences for "Blood and Wine." Rozenek is known to portray the character of "The Witcher 3" main protagonist, Geralt of Rivia. A separate report from Designntrend states that CD Projekt RED's promise of a finished version of the DLC being released during the first half of 2016 matches the reported June 7 launching by GRY Online.

The main "The Witcher 3" game is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platform.
