The second downloadable content or DLC pack for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" was finally released by CD Projekt Red last May 31. A lot of fans have been speculating about the features of the newest expansion pack, "Blood and Wine," although the release of the new DLC may not be exactly a good news for the fans as this will also serve as the concluding chapter of "The Witcher 3" storyline. "Blood and Wine" will lead the players to the final adventures and misadventures of Geralt of Rivia, the main protagonist of the latest "The Witcher" installment.

According to a recent game review by VG24/7, "Blood and Wine" will begin a new adventure in the magical world like what many players have experienced with the previous "The Witcher" game titles. Specifically, the players will still meet random people along the way, and some of them may actually present in the original book version of "The Witcher," or some of them might already be in the previous installments of the video game franchise. Likewise, there will be random individuals that players will not only have to meet personally but to fight as well. Aside from humans, there are also new monsters that the players should be wary of, especially a particular type of monster that could destroy the player with a single giant stomp.

Perhaps the most intriguing part of "Blood and Wine" is how will "The Witcher 3" end its story. Specifically, a lot of followers of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" have already become fond of Geralt's character and his battles. Prior to the release of the latest "The Witcher 3" expansion pack, there were already speculations among the gamers that Geralt may finally meet his end with "Blood and Wine."

To put things into perspective and avoid major game spoilers, the last moments in "Blood and Wine" is not about the how the adventures of a character ends but whether the character himself will take the chance to settle down or look for new ones.
