There can never be too many spoilers of "The Winds of Winter" especially since George R.R. Martin has yet to announce the progress of the book. The sixth novel of "A Song of Ice and Fire" has no release date still, but the spoilers keep in trending, especially the fate of Jon Snow.

Both "A Song of Ice and Fire" and "Game of Thrones" fans know that Jon Snow is an important character. Some say that in the "Winds of Winter," he will finally meet his demise, though some say that he will continue on with his journey.

In a previous interview with George R.R. Martin, the author claimed that no survivors will be seen in the "The Winds of Winter" novel, according to Atralgia, which translated the interview from Flashpoint.

"No one will be alive by the last book. In fact, they all die in the fifth. The sixth book will be just a thousand-page description of snow blowing across the graves," George R.R. Martin disclosed. His statement led to fans forecasting that their favorite Jon Snow will die in "The Winds of Winter."

However, there is also a possibility that several of the major characters will live. This is due to the fact that Martin said during the interview that he planned the death of the characters during its initial writing phase. Most of the fans apparently are betting that Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow are the ones to survive.

Some fans also believe that Rickon Stark is not truly dead and is only hiding in an unknown island. In "Game of Thrones," Stark was brought back to life, but eventually met his demise — to the fans' dismay.

The most recent rumor is that a seventh book is to come out following the "The Winds of Winter," which is causing the novel to be delayed. The seventh novel is said to be titled as "A Dream of Spring."
