'The Winds of Winter' spoilers, plot rumors: Daenerys, Tyrion to meet their deaths?
George R. R. Martin is still working on his upcoming book "The Winds of Winter," the sixth installment of "A Song of Fire and Ice" book series which is the source material of HBO's hit action-adventure drama series "Game of Thrones." The development of the book is still under wraps, although latest reports claim that the upcoming book will feature the demise of two major characters. Fans of the "Mother of Dragons" Daenerys Targaryen and Lord Tywin's imp son, Tyrion Lannister, will be distraught as these two key characters are in danger of getting killed before they can even claim the Iron Throne.

The first report of the demise of Daenerys and Tyrion in "The Winds of Winter" came from the Yibada website, although more details about how the harrowing events will unfold in the series are not disclosed. Information about the plot of "The Winds of Winter" is very limited, while many fans expect that the events in the upcoming sixth season of "Game of Thrones" will spoil the actual events in the book.
Martin has planned seven novels for "A Song of Fire and Ice," and the recent book released by the renowned author is "A Dance with Dragons." So far in the HBO series, the events in "A Dance with Dragons" were already explored, and the timeline of the book and TV series have already coincided. With the April 26 premiere of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 fast approaching, it will be a rare occurrence that the TV series will overtake its source material.
In spite of the delay in writing "The Winds of Winter" and possible spoilers in "GoT" Season 6, Martin remained positive that the TV series will not spoil too much information about the unpublished book. iDigital Times reported that the events in the book will not be exactly the same as in "GoT."
Martin previously stated in an interview with IGN that he wants to finish writing "The Winds of Winter" before the Season 6 premiere of "GoT."
"Maybe I'm being overly optimistic about how quickly I can finish. But I canceled two convention appearances, I'm turning down a lot more interview-anything I can do to clear my decks and get this done," Martin said.
However, the author has yet to release a final version of the book and the overtaking of "GoT" to "A Song of Fire and Ice" will be inevitable.
