'The Winds of Winter' release date, plot rumors: New novel to have special chapter about Cersei, to be revealed at Worldcon 2016?

It is still not confirmed if George R. R. Martin's upcoming novel "The Winds of Winter" will be released this year. However, there are several hints leading the fans to believe that the renowned author has already finished all the chapters of the book, and therefore "The Winds of Winter" will be hitting the bookshelves in the coming months. In fact, the rumors are rife that Martin will be unveiling one chapter in the unpublished book to tease the fans, and it is going to happen at the Worldcon 2016 event next month.
Headlines and Global News reported that Martin will be presenting a new chapter at the Worldcon 2016 next month to appease his anxious fans who couldn't wait to see the continuation of 2011's "A Dance With Dragons." The Worldcon 2016 is a five-day event that will run from Aug. 17 to 21 at Kansas City Convention Center. Several writers and those who are involved in the publishing industry will be present at the said event, and Martin is expected to make a big surprise by unveiling a chapter of this year's much-anticipated book.
"I will be there, along with hundreds of other writers, artists, and editors, and thousands of fans," Martin has stated on his personal blog.
"If you have never been to a con before, this is the one to go to... assuming you're a reader. Worldcon has always had a strong literary slant, and while costuming, television, films, comics, and games are all included as well, it is the written word that occupies center ring here."
Furthermore, the mentioned chapter from "The Winds of Winter" to be presented at Worldcon will be focused on Cersei Lannister, Yibada reported. Cersei was put in such a shameful situation during the last pages of "A Dance With Dragons," as the King's Landing began learning of their queen's unbearable acts of deception. The readers are expecting to learn how Cersei will rebound from her infamous "walk of shame" incident, and if she will have the taste of revenge, just like what happened in the TV version based on Martin's novels, "Game of Thrones."
