Rosita (Christian Serratos) may have been impervious to Spencer's (Austin Nichols) wooing, but could the two survivors' relationship heat up in "The Walking Dead" season 7?

Rosita and Spencer first started getting intimate in season 6. But after Spencer attempted to turn their fling into something more, Rosita expressed her disinterest and moved on. Now, following her brief romance with Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and his horrifying death at the hands of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in the season 7 premiere, Rosita has once again turned to Spencer for companionship.

In Sunday's episode, titled "Service," Rosita and Spencer seemed to finally be having a deeper connection as they bickered over survival methods and other topics. In an interview with ComicBook.com, Nichols expressed hope for a future full-blown romance between Rosita and Spencer, saying, "I absolutely think she'll come around."

According to the actor, it's understandable that Rosita isn't ready to jump into a relationship with Spencer just yet, given that she has only just lost Abraham. He also said that while Rosita and Spencer's connection was initially purely physical, Rosita is beginning to appreciate Spencer for who he is.

"I think she can see that in him and she'll come around," Nichols said. "I have high hopes for them," he continued.

"I think if she didn't have any interest in him, she wouldn't be with him at all," Serratos added. "She wouldn't be having any sort of interaction with him. There's obviously something there," she said.

Meanwhile, Andrew Lincoln recently spoke about his character Rick's major revelation in "Service." In a conversation with Michonne (Danai Gurira) in the episode, Rick finally confirmed that he knew all along that Judith wasn't his daughter. Rather, she was fathered by his former best friend Shane (Jon Bernthal), who had a fling with his wife Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) while he was in a coma.

According to Lincoln, the secret is one that Rick has been keeping to himself for a very long time and is one that has influenced his every action and decision since he found out. "It's also a very smart way of understanding why he's behaving in this way," the actor told Entertainment Weekly, "because he's been behaving that way with regards to his child since the outbreak, since he got the news."

"The Walking Dead" season 7 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
