No one from "The Walking Dead" cast and crew have, as yet, even hinted at the identity of the unfortunate victim of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his baseball bat Lucille in the AMC show's controversial season 6 finale.

Nonetheless, a few of them have admitted that they know who it was at the receiving end of the fatal beating Negan handed out at the end of the much-hyped episode.

In an interview with E! News at this weekend's 2016 Tony Awards, actress/playwright Danai Gurira, who was up for a Tony at the event, let slip that she knows who dies when season 7 airs its premiere episode later this year.

"I know what's happening," said Gurira, who plays the tough-as-nails Michonne in "TWD." "I'll tell you this much — I know something. I know a little bit more than you."

But when pressed for specifics, such as whether or not audiences will have to watch that climactic and utterly horrifying moment with Negan and his barbed-wire-covered baseball bat all over again, the actress backtracked, joking that her memory was getting cloudy.

"Suddenly, I don't know anything," she teased. "Where am I?!"

Michonne was among the Alexandrians at Negan's mercy in the season 6 finale. Some fans speculate that it could be her who Negan chose to kill in that episode, which is plausible given that the character is Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) current love interest and, as avid "TWD" fans know, all of Rick's romantic partners thus far have had horrible deaths.

Gurira is the second "TWD" cast member to speak about knowing the identity of the mystery victim in the season 6 finale.

Not long after the finale aired, Norman Reedus, Gurira's "TWD" co-star, said that he knows who the victim is, but that he could not reveal any details about the episode.

"Cliffhangers have been happening since the beginning of entertainment so it makes sense," Reedus told Natalie Morales and Tamron Hall during a visit to "The Today Show." "I know what happens and it's gut-wrenching."

"The Walking Dead" season 3 premieres in October.
