There are only a few months left before the much-anticipated return of AMC's "The Walking Dead," and the viewers will finally know who Negan killed at the end of the breath-taking Season 6. It is a grand tradition at the San Diego Comic-Con to give fans some exciting teasers, and as expected, the panel of "The Walking Dead" at the said event finally revealed the first official trailer of Season 7. Aside from the reign of Negan and the Saviors, the trailer also teased the arrival of a possible ally that will help Rick and the Alexandrians to fight the ruthless villain.

As reported by Yibada, the first trailer of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 can be split into two parts, where the first portion shows the main characters of the series who might just be the helpless victim of Negan's barbed baseball bat named Lucille. However, the second half teases the group that may help the Alexandrians to fight the Saviors. The mysterious character that was shown with his pet tiger cub is none other Ezekiel, a popular character of the original "The Walking Dead" comic book. The name of his pet tiger is Shiva, and he leads another large group called the Kingdom. However, unlike the Saviors, there is a greater chance that the Kingdom will be the good guys to help Rick in fighting Negan.

Back in April, Spoil the Dead reported that the producers of "The Walking Dead" was looking for an "African-American male actor with age of around 40." Moreover, the website described the characteristics of the particular character as "an eccentric, charismatic, and kind leader that projects a regal air of confidence and wisdom to his people." Design N Trend expected that the producers might be looking for the actor who will play Ezekiel. The actor that the team was looking for is expected to be fine with wearing intricate types of clothing that other people may find weird, perfectly fitting the description of Ezekiel's taste in clothing.
