The shocking final sequence of "The Walking Dead" Season 6 finale is probably still hanging in the minds of the hit series' millions of viewers all over the world. To recall, the gut-wrenching finale episode featured the arrival of the series' reigning villain, Negan (Joseph Dean Morgan), the fearsome leader of The Saviors. In an act of vengeance for killing a number of his followers, Negan chose to beat one of the Alexandrians headed by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). In a very mysterious fashion, the ending scene was shot without the viewers knowing who Negan's poor victim is. Months after the dreaded Season 6 finale, and a few weeks before the much-anticipated return of the AMC suspense-drama thriller, "The Walking Dead" series creator Robert Kirkman teased the fans regarding the identity of Negan's victim.

In a recent interview with Kirkman in "The Talking Dead," he talked about the infamous death scene of the unknown main character. However, he tried to keep his statements as vague as possible to avoid spoiling the fans.

"As upset as people probably are at Negan's introduction and how he's coming in and killing somebody who is very beloved to everyone," said Kirkman as quoted by TV Line. "From his perspective, he's the hero of his story, like most villains."

There is no way for the fans to know the identity of Negan's victim at this point. However, there are several "The Walking Dead" spoiler websites such as The Spoiling Dead that checks with the ongoing filming of Season 7. In fact, a recent update from The Spoiling Dead site has revealed a list of the names of all the cast members that were seen filming the third episode of Season 7. Those actors that were almost non-existent in the filming location might just be the unfortunate victim of Negan, and according to their current tally, Steven Yeun's character, Glen, is in danger of getting killed off. Meanwhile, the supposed survivors so far include Melissa McBride, Michael Cudlitz, Lennie James, Danai Gurira, Corey Hawkins and Ross Marquand.
