The shocking Season 6 finale of AMC's "The Walking Dead" has made a lot of viewers all over the world at the edge of their seats, and until now the fans couldn't help thinking about the gut-wrenching last sequence of the season. It was shown in that infamous scene that one of the show's fan favorites bore the brunt of Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) anger in the most gruesome way possible: by being bludgeoned to death by his fearsome spiked baseball bat that he named "Lucille."

Still, the fans have no clue who was getting hit as the ending scene was shot in such a way that viewers could not see the character that was getting brutally killed. The premiere of the seventh season is still a few months away, but as early as now, the fans can't help but speculate who the unfortunate Alexandrian might be.

"The Walking Dead" series creator Robert Kirkman recently talked about the gruesome act of Negan in a special episode of "The Talking Dead." He tried to keep his statements as vague as possible to avoid spoiling the fans, but he described how Negan believes that his merciless treatment is justified, and for the villain, he is the actual hero of the series.

"As upset as people probably are at Negan's introduction and how he's coming in and killing somebody who is very beloved to everyone," said Kirkman as quoted by TV Line. "From his perspective, he's the hero of his story, like most villains."

The latest rumors, however, will shock more fans as Negan might just be too cold-blooded to kill only one helpless character. According to the latest update from The Spoiling Dead, Negan might not have only killed one from Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) group. There is a possibility that he killed two characters all at once.

The spoiler website for "The Walking Dead" made reference to the original comic book of the same name, where Negan killed two persons using Lucille. To recall, the most notable victim of Negan in the comics was Glenn, who was beaten to death in front of his friends and Maggie until his skull was crushed. In the TV version, it is rumored that Steven Yeun's character will experience the same brutality, although Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) may also be the other victim. The Spoiling Dead speculated that Abraham will be the first one to get hit by Lucille, followed by Glenn. Still, there is a chance that this will not pan out as Negan previously mentioned to kill only one of them.
