Following the San Diego Comic Con panel of AMC's hit series "The Walking Dead" last weekend, the network has already released additional promotional stills featuring the new big characters of the seventh season. The viewers may already be familiar with Negan, the dreaded big boss of the Saviors. Played by Jeffrey Dea Morgan, the villainous character made his presence felt by mysteriously killing off one from the Alexandrian group led by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). However, there might be one person to stop his reign of terror in the presence of an upcoming cast member, Khary Payton.

It was reported that Payton will be playing the role of Ezekiel, the leader of another large group called the Kingdom. The photos of the two new additions to "The Walking Dead" have made many fans excited for the series' return this October. Likewise, during the Comic Con event, the attendees had the chance to witness the first official teaser of Season 7 featuring Negan and Ezekiel.

Yibada reported that the first trailer of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 can be split into two parts, where the first portion shows the main characters of the series who might just be the helpless victim of Negan's barbed baseball bat named Lucille.

On the other hand, the second half teases the group that may help the Alexandrians to fight the Saviors. The mysterious character that was shown with his pet tiger cub is none other Ezekie. The name of his pet tiger is Shiva, and he leads another large group called the Kingdom. However, unlike the Saviors, there is a greater chance that the Kingdom will be the good guys to help Rick in fighting Negan. The first glimpse of the Kingdom was actually shown in the Season 6 finale, as some of its members rescued an injured Carol (Melissa McBride) and Morgan (Lennie James).

Meanwhile, the rumors are rife that Negan may have killed two characters instead of one during the gut-wrenching finale last season. Independent reported that the actors Steven Yeun and Michael Cudlitz were only seen for a few instances in the shooting locations for Season 7, implying that their respective characters, Glenn and Abraham, were the ones killed by Negan.
