'The Walking Dead' season 7 air date, spoilers update:

AMC recently released another 30-second trailer for "The Walking Dead," showing more of next season's, baddie Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
"Things have changed," Negan uttered. "Whatever you had going for you? That's over. Thing is—I am everywhere," he said during the trailer.
"The Walking Dead" season 6 finale was probably one of the most intense cliffhangers in TV history. Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his gang were hunted down by the Saviors, forcing them to kneel down in the presence of the extortionist group's leader, Negan. The final moments of the season showed that the new antagonist was about to bludgeon one of the main characters with Lucille, his baseball bat. The identity of the victim remains a secret but previous speculations suggested that it could either be Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) or Daryl (Norman Reedus).
During the 30-second trailer, a man with bright colored hair was seen on his back, fighting off a walker. Although the clip was short, fans were convinced that this man was Abraham. Hence, he must not be Negan's victim.
In an interview with PopSugar, Cudlitz implied that Abraham survived the ordeal. The actor revealed that in Robert Kirkman's comic books, Abraham died when he was shot in the eye with a crossbow. He said the creator wasn't too happy about the character's demise which might be why Abraham got a new storyline in the show. Instead of Abraham, Denise (Merritt Wever) died in the TV adaptation. Cudlitz added that he found it cool how the TV series did not follow everything that happened in the graphic novels.
On the other hand, there were reports that Cudlitz was only present for the filming of the season premiere, which will reveal the answer to last season's cliffhanger.
In the previous trailer, fans began to prepare themselves for the possibility of Daryl dying because Dwight (Austin Amelio) was seen with Daryl's iconic vest and motorcycle.
Fans of the show can finally get their answers on the premiere of the seventh season of "The Walking Dead" which will air on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 9 p.m. on AMC.
