'The Walking Dead' Season 5 Spoilers, Episode 10 Recap: Gang Survives Storm, Attacks By Walkers and Dogs
The 10th episode of "The Walking Dead," which aired at 9/8c on AMC, finally gave the gang of survivors some respite from the elements and a major storm. Later they found out that someone apparently wanted to help them.
There was plenty of trouble on the road as members of the gang dealt with their grief following the death of Beth (Emily Kinney) and Tyreese (Chad L. Coleman). This led Daryl (Norman Reedus) leaving the group on several occasions to spend some time alone even as Maggie (Lauren Cohan) had trouble fending off a walker.

Even though Carol (Melissa McBride) urged Daryl to grieve for Beth properly he would not listen to her.
Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) was also dealing with the death of her brother Tyreese.
When the survivors came face to face with a big group of walkers, an angry Sasha broke off from the rest of the group who were just letting the undead fall off a cliff and instead attacked them. This forced the others to support Sasha by joining the attack on the walkers.
They were then attacked by a group of wild dogs, but Sasha shot them before they could do harm. To ease their hunger, the group cooked and ate the dogs' flesh. This traumatized Noah (Tyler James Williams) especially when he found one of the dogs' collars.
Soon after, Daryl found a barn in the woods. While he was crying over Beth, he found bottles of water on the road. The group became suspicious and decided not to drink the water even though they were dehydrated.
Fortunately, it began to rain much to their relief.
The group went to spend the night in the barn where Rick gave them a pep talk. A group of walkers tried to enter the barn, but Rick and his fellow survivors managed to keep them out.
As a fierce storm raged outside, the walkers stopped trying to come in, giving the group some time to sleep.
In the morning Maggie and Sasha went outside and found that the storm had ripped up trees, impaling the walkers. Miraculously the storm spared the barn.
As they watch rising sun, a stranger named Aaron (Ross Marquand) suddenly appeared and asked to talk to Rick. Aaron described himself as the "guy in charge," which immediately made Sasha and Maggie suspicious.
