After Tyler (Michael Trevino) and Matt's (Zach Roerig) return, rumor has it that Katherine (Nina Dobrev) will be the next character to come back for the final season of The CW's hit supernatural drama "The Vampire Diaries."

As the previous episodes have established, Katherine was not killed by Cade (Wolé Parks), Sybil (Nathalie Kelley) or Celine. After Stefan (Paul Wesley) stabbed her with a traveler knife, an unknown mystical entity ripped her soul away when she was attempting to cross to the Other Side. Executive producer Caroline Dries still wouldn't clarify where Katherine went after she was taken, but in a previous interview, she revealed that the character is not in a good place. Will viewers ever get the chance to see Katherine's dark world?

According to reports, the show hasn't featured Hell yet, but there is a huge possibility that it will be shown soon. Sybil previously said that she gave Damon (Ian Somerhalder) a glimpse of the Hell that awaited him, which led him to work for Cade. There are speculations that it's only a matter of time before the story explores the underworld.

The previous episode of "The Vampire Diaries" featured Sybil's origin story and revealed that she is not as infallible as she likes to make people think she is. Speaking with Collider, Kelley shared her thoughts on her character's weaknesses.

"You're already seeing elements of it with the tuning fork, and yes, that does become a big part of the storyline," she said. "You'll learn about what that tuning fork really is and what it does, and you'll start seeing chinks in her army, in terms of her infallibility."

As for what Sybil is really up to, the actress said she still couldn't reveal her master plan because it continues to evolve as the story moves forward.

"At this point, she's really just enjoying being out and not being a creature in a pool of blood," she explained. "She's enjoying going out and wearing nice clothes and making people do her evil bidding. She's really having a good time in Mystic Falls. That's her motivation right now. She just wants to satisfy her sick urges and cravings, sadistically, with this small town."
