'The Vampire Diaries' season 8 spoilers: another major death to be unveiled in season 8B

More painful deaths are coming when the second half of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 returns on The CW.
In an interview with TVLine, executive producer Julie Plec hinted that Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) will not be the last person in Mystic Falls to end up dead in the last eight episodes of the series.
But when asked about the identity of the character/s who will end up dead in the upcoming episodes, the executive producer refused to give out more information. She only hinted that the death will be somehow "painful" and "terrible."
On the other hand, Plec claimed that Stefan's (Paul Wesley) decision to turn off his humanity switch as he decides to work for Cade (Wolé Parks) will cause a lot of bloodbath in the eighth and final season of "The Vampire Diaries."
"Stefan's never been good with temptation while in ripper mode," Plec stated. "We know from past experience that Stefan has a threshold, and it'll be Damon's job to monitor his brother and make sure he stays on the good side of that threshold. If he crosses it, there's a risk of losing him forever."
Meanwhile, the synopsis for the midseason premiere episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 titled "We Have History Together" revealed that Stefan and his older brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will use an anger management class in order to scout for their next victim. The Salvatore brothers will also test the morals of a young doctor named Tara (Alexandra Chando) as part of their job for Cade. Also, Sybil (Nathalie Kelley) will resurface and disguise as a high school teacher to have an advantage over Caroline (Candice King) to prevent the latter from finding the missing historical artifact that can be used against her.
The midseason premiere of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 is slated to air on The CW on Friday, Jan. 13.
