'The Vampire Diaries' season 8 episode 3 spoilers: Bonnie makes heart-wrenching decision, Tyler tries to talk some sense into Damon, stars suggest possible ending for Salvatore brothers

Bonnie (Kat Graham) makes a heart-wrenching decision in the upcoming episode of The CW's hit supernatural drama "The Vampire Diaries" season 8.

Titled "You Decided That I Was Worth Saving," next week's episode will see Bonnie at the center of a huge problem. According to the official synopsis for episode 6, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) is still struggling to fight the force that controls him. As a result, Bonnie finds herself in the middle of a deadly game as she is forced to make a heart-wrenching decision that involves two of the most important figures in her life.

Meanwhile at the Armory, Alaric (Matt Davis) is determined to find more information on a mysterious artifact that he hopes will help in their mission to get Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo back. Elsewhere, Damon's downward spiral eventually leads him to Tyler Lockwood (guest star Michael Trevino). Tyler attempts to talk some sense into him before it's too late, but it remains to be seen how Damon will react to his advice.

"The Vampire Diaries" is now on its final season, and fans certainly have a lot of ideas in mind about how they want the series to end. Speaking with TV Guide, some of the show's cast members shared their suggestions on the show's conclusion. "I really think [Stefan] should take off his ring and die with Damon," Paul Wesley said. "I think that would be the perfect ending."

Somerhalder seems to agree with Wesley, saying that the Salvatore brothers should travel to the Caribbean in the finale. "Just sit on a beach all night drinking Caribbean rum, and when the sun comes up, [share] one last toast, give each other a hug, take off their rings and throw them into the water," the actor stated.
