'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 updates, spoilers, rumors: Finale to feature the 'ultimate sacrifice' from a major character
The upcoming finale episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 will feature the "ultimate sacrifice" of a main character for his friend who has been hell bent on killing him and his fellow vampires since the previous episode.
The upcoming Episode 22 of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 entitled "Gods and Monsters" will see Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) looking for a way to save her close friend Bonnie Bennet (Kat Graham). In the previous episode, Bonnie was saved by a shamanistic ritual which transferred the remaining life of the powerful vampire huntress Rayna Cruz (Leslie Ann Huff) to the young Bennet witch. However, this was proven to the worst way to save Bonnie from the clutches of death, as Rayna's anger towards all vampires in the world was also transferred to Bonnie. Therefore, Bonnie may have been alive today but she will follow Rayna's footsteps in killing all vampires that she will meet along the way. It was unfortunate for Bonnie's vampire friends which include Enzo (Michael Malarkey), Stefan (Paul Wesley), Damon, and her bestfriend Caroline (Candice Accola).
Bonnie could not control herself in trying to kill her own friends, as her mind dictates her to finish off every vampire, even if that vampire means a lot to her. The end of the episode showed Bonnie being knocked unconscious by Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig), but later recovering from the short slumber and attacked Matt. She then turned Matt's car back to her friends' location, putting their lives in danger.
According to a report from Spoilers Guide, the only solution to save Bonnie from her current madness is to go back to The Armory. To recall, something sinister has been unleashed when Bonnie unlocked a mysterious vault for The Armory. Enzo will try to lure Bonnie into The Armory, but something unfortunate will happen. This will cause Damon to make the "ultimate sacrifice" to save Bonnie. Will he sacrifice his own life in order to restore Bonnie's sanity and save his friends from killing each other? The last episode of "The Vampire Diaries" will air on Friday evening on CW channel.
