A new update for "The Sims 4" has been released to address the general issues in the base game as well as on the "City Living" and "Get to Work" expansions.

Thanks to the patch, the issue that causes some save games to return immediately to the map screen when trying to enter a lot is no more as well as the problem where the saves in restaurants and retail lots do not open.

"The Sims 4" patch also, among many other fixes, has something for the kleptomaniacs. Those who are not caught stealing get to keep the stuff they took and will see it in their inventory.

"If you do get caught, do the right thing," Electronic Arts advises gamers if it goes the other way around. Additionally, the patch will also allow Sims to "dance to [their] heart's content" until of course the music on the radio stops.

The patch will no longer see Jasmine "knock endlessly" while "food can be dragged into all worlds now." For those who are still on Windows XP, the Gallery is usable again although EA quips these players "should really consider upgrading."

For the "Get to Work" expansion, "The Sims 4" patch will make sure the police officer is "squeaky clean," which means he will not be a suspect of a crime.

With regards to the "City Living" downloadable content (DLC), the patch addresses the issue of babies getting stuck in apartments.

"Stuck babies will be unstuck, and babies will hereby no longer get stuck again. We hope... for everyone's sake," EA quips.

"The Sims 4" patch also stops Sims from constantly eating at food stalls at festivals, which is good news for those who are worried about gaining weight.

More on the festivals, the patch will finally introduce outdoor bathrooms for the ladies and more than one Sim in a household can now get festival whims on their way to a festival even though it has already started.

The Politics buff now has the "best words" while neighbor complaints can now be entertained by the Sims without dropping on the queue. The best part is that players can ignore the grumbles of a neighbor and the Sim's relationship with their roommate will not be affected.
