'The Sims 4' expansion pack news 2016: New city-themed DLC in the works; Portuguese title revealed

EA Games' popular life simulation game "The Sims 4" will be having a new expansion pack, and rumor has it that the upcoming DLC will have a city theme.
According to recent reports, a video footage of the upcoming expansion pack was leaked in the game's fansite prior to its official launch. The DLC is rumored to be titled "Vida Na Cidade," a Portuguese phrase which translates to "Life in the City" in English. Since it was leaked in a Brazilian game rating website, the title might be changed once the DLC rolls out in the U.S.
Though the developer has yet to officially launch the new DLC, fans of the hit game franchise are positive that it will be city-themed. Since the most recently-launched DLC "Dine Out" allowed players to explore a suburban neighborhood, the expansion pack could focus on how the sims' life would be in the big city. It is also believed that the "Backyard Stuff" expansion pack revealed clues about the next expansion pack. In the said DLC, two items have cityscape designs which point to an urban theme.
It was previously speculated that EA will announce new details on the said expansion pack during the recently-concluded Gamescom event but unfortunately, it didn't happen. Multiple media outlets point out that the DLC has been under development since last year. The game developer previously conducted a survey to know what kind of DLC themes players want to explore next. A "Metropolis" DLC was one of the options and the description reads: "Move into a bustling, modern city! Live in new apartments and penthouses eat food at carts and shop at street markets and immerse your sims in the different cultures of the city by exploring the many diverse neighborhoods."
EA has yet to officially announce details on the upcoming city-themed "The Sims 4" expansion pack. More details are expected in the coming weeks.
