'The Royals' season 3 premiere date, spoilers, updates: Jasper and Eleanor get hot and heavy in 1st trailer for upcoming season

Fans and viewers of "The Royals" should expect an intense plot, an array of mysterious characters, and an improved presentation when the show returns this December for its third season. At least, that's what the latest teaser clip for the show seem to indicate.
The show's very first trailer was released during the Emmy red carpet special. As expected, E! News had first dibs on the trailer, which can be viewed here. What's obvious throughout the trailer was season 3's pseudo-theme: relationship problems.
If things looked heated between Jasper (Tom Austen) and Eleanor (Alexandra Park) in season 2, fans could expect their bond to get more intense in the upcoming installment. Hollywood Life claims there will not be a dull moment in season 3, and it seems likely as the trailer shows Jasper and Eleanor getting hot and heavy in the third season.
As can be seen in the clip, Eleanor is finally letting her hair down with her ex-boyfriend and bodyguard. It looks like things will get crazy for the two, as another scene in the trailer shows Eleanor flirting with Jasper. The catch? Jasper is watching Eleanor behave like the perfect seductress on a CCTV camera. Obviously, Eleanor likes being watched, especially by Jasper.
It seems Eleanor has finally moved on from her spiteful phase when she thought Jasper betrayed her during the season 2 finale. Things might have escalated between the two after Jasper shows her how much she means to him, something that changed the course of their relationship.
Meanwhile, Cyrus (Jake Maskall) and Helena (Elizabeth Hurley) will have a tense moment, as shown in the clip.
"I have nothing to lose, so you better watch your back, bitch!" Cyrus tells Queen Helena.
The rest of "The Royals" season 3 will answer whether Robert will reappear, as well as how his possible comeback could affect the plot of the upcoming season.
"The Royals" season 3 premieres Dec. 4, at 10 p.m., on ET.
