'The Real Housewives of New York' news: Season 9 slated to premiere on April 5

The season 9 premiere of "The Real Housewives of New York" will air on April 5, Sunday, at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo TV. The teaser for the upcoming season shows that the ladies are coming back with all their drama and a new cast member thrown in the mix.
One trailer showed Luann de Lesseps and Tom d'Agostino, Jr. making preparations for their wedding, after she decides to stick with him despite catching him kissing another woman. However, doubts will begin to enter de Lessep's mind when Bethenny Frankel approaches her to tell her that her fiancé is cheating on her.
Frankel herself will be shown picking up the pieces and moving forward after her divorce. However, she will become involved in a fight with Ramona Singer, who will also be celebrating her birthday on the show. Despite her age, season 9 will see her going back to the dating scene and even teaching the other women how to pick up men.
Meanwhile, Tinsley Mortimer, a socialite and the newest cast member of the show, will find herself in a catfight. She is said to have been brought in the group by Sonja Morgan, who will invite her to go back to New York and stay at her townhouse. However, something will go wrong, as rumors surround Mortimer about an arrest in her past, as well as her supposed "crash and burn," as described by Frankel.
Morgan will find herself caught in a love triangle and will need to choose between two men. Carole Radziwill will also find herself in an unconventional relationship. She will also make an attempt to be friends with her other cast mates, and she will form an unexpected bond with one of them.
Jill Zarin, who left the show in season 4, will be returning in season 9 for a cameo appearance.
