"The Real Housewives of New York City" recently wrapped up, and the final moments of the season 8 reunion episode saw Andy Cohen gathering up the ladies for a group hug. However, Bethenny Frankel just sat by the side and opted not to join them.

Understandably, hugging with the people who she just argued with may feel like putting a band-aid over a broken limb. A fan tweeted the reality star after the said episode, asking her for any comment on how she reacted in the finale. "Bethenny no group hug?," she quoted the question before posting a respone: "Nope." As it turns out, the drama does not stop there."I don't double kiss & I don't fake hug. Thankfully, I had strep so it wasn't an option anyway," she added. Reality Tea points out that Bethenny's reply may not mean anything but her comment just proves that she feels indifferent to the backlash she has been receiving.

With all the shocking drama surrounding the ladies, Entertainment Tonight notes that this season may be the most entertaining one across all franchises yet. The media outlet also mentioned that Bethenny "won" this season after everything she went through.

Aside from a heated argument with John, she also shut down Sonja's attempt to explain her decision to piggyback on her Skinny Girl business. When she first saw Tom's controversial photo, fans described Bethenny's reaction as realistic but still great for TV. During some moments in the season, she was even dubbed as an "audience surrogate," often stating exactly what the fans were saying.

Ramona Singer was also commended by fans after she proved to be a true friend to Bethenny back when she faced a major health scare. Even though she wouldn't stop talking about Dorinda's boyfriend John Mahdessian, Ramona appeared to be genuinely concerned about Bethenny's condition.

The network has yet to announce a premiere date for "The Real Housewives of New York City" season 9.
