'The Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Season 8 reunion recap: NeNe Leakes returned to settle disputes; one cast member forced by Andy Cohen to apologize

The eight season of hit reality show "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" ended with a three-part episode, featuring cast members finally settling their disputes.
To start off, NeNe seemed to have changed when she got back for the reunion episode. As Entertainment Weekly would describe the new NeNe, "She's calm; she's wise; she just wants everybody to be happy; and she's totally cool with Bravo showing her old face in all those flashbacks." It is known to everyone that Kenya Moore did not like NeNe when she first appeared in the show, but it did not take long for her to get in the middle of Kenya and Cynthia Bailey's rift. Looking back, Kenya explained her side of the story, saying, "What I was hurt about was [Cynthia] saying, 'We're still getting to know each other,' like I was some stray off the street." She then called the comment as "the ultimate denial of a relationship."
Cynthia replied to her statement with a blunt explanation, saying, "NeNe and I didn't talk for two years. It felt good to just be cool again. What I did make the mistake of doing was just not being crystal clear about how I felt about Kenya. We are not besties or BFF, but we are very, very close friends, and I love her," as noted by Us Weekly.
Speaking of Kenya, another issue among the cast members is her questioning the sexuality of Kim Fields' husband Christopher Morgan. In his defense, Morgan said that it is not unusual for him, expressing how secure he feels with his relationship with Kim. Show creator Andy Cohen forced Kenya to apologize, saying "It seems like you're all kind of gay-bashy. It was taunting, and it was derogatory." In the end, Kenya was able to cough up an apology for her demeaning statements towards Chris.
