'The Powerpuff Girls' reboot confirmed for April 4

One of Cartoon Network's well-loved animated series will hit the TV screens once more, as "The Powerpuff Girls" is confirmed to premiere in the United States on April 4, 2016<sup>.
Canada will air the reboot premiere simultaneously with the United States. April 4 is the date when the series will debut in Brazil and Latin America. Meanwhile, "The Powerpuff Girls" will hit the U.K. TV screens on April 25, as it will air in Cartoon Network U.K.
According to TV Series Finale, the series reboot was ordered 40 episodes for its first season. "Our first season has forty eleven-minute episodes and it's a staircase method of production. Every week, we're finishing written material, we're handing out written material, looking at storyboards in rough phases and finished phases. We're doing animatics, records, mixing, finishing, and delivering," series executive producer Nick Jennings mentioned together with Bob Boyle.
As noted by IGN, the first episode entitled "Man Up" can now be watched for free via iTunes. Despite all the new characters, visual tweaks and different take on humor,the show remained all-in-all fun, like it has always been.In this episode, Blossom Bubbles and Buttercup will meet a new villain named "Man-Boy."
The series reboot also meant new voice talents for the role of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. Amanda Leighton, Kristen Li, and Natalie Palamides will play Townsville's adorable heroes, respectively. Cartoon network issued a press statement confirming the casting change, as reported last year by A.V. Club. Tara Strong, who voiced Bubbles on the original show took her disappointment to Twitter following Cartoon Network's decision to hire new voice talents. "I don't remember ordering a stab in the heart today," the prolific voice actress posted.
Craig McCracken's program of the same title ran from 1998 to 2005. "The Powerpuff Girls" is slated for release this April 4, 6:00 p.m. on Cartoon network. The animated reboot series will be helmed by Nick Jennings, Bob Boyle and Julia "Fitzy" Fitzmaurice.
