The Originals Spoilers, Plot News: Will Klaus, Elijah And Hayley Survive Dinner With Esther?

The next episode of The Originals is going to be a family-centric one. Viewers are going to see how the Mikaelson siblings, Klaus and Elijah, deal with the return of their father Mikael and mother Esther over dinner.

The third episode in the season is titled "Every Mother's Son", and going by the synopsis it look like at least one secret kept for over a thousand years will come out. This happens when Esther invites Klaus, played by Joseph Morgan, and Elijah, played by Daniel Gillies, for dinner.

Hayley also accompanies them and the trio decides to get some help before they attend dinner from the witch Lenore, who is played by Sonja Sohn.

However, as with all family dinners things suddenly change, and this will leave Klaus, Elijah and Hayley wondering who they can trust.

The synopsis also reveals that Esther, who now inhabits the body of Cassie, will reveal a secret that has something to do with Klaus when he was a child. She also seems to have planned what she wants to do to her family and will reveal it during the episode. Knowing that Esther has tried to put an end to her family on many occasions, her plan does not bode well for the Mikaelson siblings.

As for Haley's new status as a hybrid vampire and werewolf, there is more news on that front too, as the synopsis reveals that Esther will present her with an enticing proposition. Wetpaint assumes that the proposition might have something to do with hybrids being able to kill vampires with just one bite, and with Esther wanting her family to end; she might want to make use of Haley.

Also in the episode Elijah will take Gia, a newly turned vampire, under his wing.

Finally, TVLine conducted an interview with Morgan, in which he stated that there might be less romance between his character Klaus and Haley, as they are not getting on well after losing baby Hope.
