'The Originals' season 4 spoilers news: Klaus gets more bloodthirsty? Daughter Hope is Klaus' only hope?

Klaus Mikaelson's daughter, Hope, could be living up to her name in "The Originals" season 4. It seems the seven-year-old child would be her father's only chance for redemption, if the spoilers for the upcoming installment were to be believed.
Viewers of the series know that Klaus (Joseph Morgan) made the ultimate sacrifice at the end of the series' third run. In the finale, the Tunde Blade sent him into a pain-induced coma. Now, Morgan is teasing that season 4 would premiere to a newly woken, bad-tempered Klaus.
Speaking to TV Overmind, Morgan not only reflected on his journey the past three seasons but also what fans could expect from him in the upcoming season. He said there's a chance that Klaus would wake up even more bloodthirsty than he was before he was subjected to the coma.
"The Originals" season 4 would pick up five years after Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) regained control of New Orleans.
In an interview with TV Line, showrunner Michael Narducci said Klaus' daughter, Hope, would be a "little person" when the show returns.
"She was two years old when we left her ... and she's now a little person," Narducci said. "She's got dialogue and hopes and dreams, and she misses her dad and understands her family has suffered a great loss. Hayley's a great mom."
Summer Fontana would play 7-year-old Hope in "The Originals" season 4, and because she grew up not knowing her father Klaus, she would be curious about him. In the same interview with TV Line, Phoebe Tonkin, who plays Hope's mother Hayley, said she is excited to "see what kind of personality this little girl has."
"Even though she hasn't been around her dad for the last five years, I think there's a lot of Klaus in her - good or bad – and I'm excited to see that in this little powerful witch," she told the publication.
Fans would recall that before Cami (Leah Pipes) died in "The Originals" season 3, she told Klaus that the goodness in him is not completely lost. It was Cami's way of telling him that the most important connection in Klaus' life is the one he has with his daughter, who could eventually turn out as his saving grace.
"The Originals" season 4 is scheduled to premiere mid-season 2017 on The CW.
