In a recent interview with TV Line, Narducci mentioned that although the romance between Hayley and Klaus concluded in season 3, their relationship was still in a "pretty good place."

"He was able to do what he had to in order to save his siblings, and he was able to trust his child in the hands of this woman he has come to respect and trust more than he does a lot of other people," Narducci said.

"They trust and each other and will do whatever it takes to protect their kid, and I think you'll start to see a lot more of that," he added.

Narducci also mentioned that Hayley and Klaus may no longer be lovers, but their bond will be strengthened as they both try to fit the role of being parents to Hope (Summer Fontana). The two will be "in concert" in doing everything they must to raise their child and protect her from harm.

According to Enstarz, the production of "The Originals" season 4 wrapped up before the start of the holidays. Tonkin reportedly posted a brief message on her Twitter account, thanking the show's cast and crew for their hard work and for spending long hours in making season 4 possible. Morgan and Fontana also recently shared a holiday message on Instagram for their fans.

The fourth season of "The Originals," a spinoff from the popular supernatural TV series "The Vampire Diaries," is set to premiere on March 17, 2017 on The CW.
