'The Originals' season 4 spoilers: Davina rumored to return; Will she stop Marcel's plan for revenge?
"The Originals" will premiere its fourth season next year, but fans are still reeling from the unfortunate fate of the Mikaelsons in the previous season.
In season 3, Marcel was plotting to attack the Mikaelsons as an act of vengeance but he found out that they were all dead. It will only take a matter of time before he discovers that they are still alive, however, the Mikaelsons are not yet ready for a huge fight. Rumor has it that Davina might be the key to stopping Marcel's plans and her return from the dead will prevent him from retaliating.
Executive producer Michael Narducci previously mentioned about Hayley saving the Mikaelsons and how she has to ask help from someone who has knowledge in treating wolf bites. "There were hints in the finale of what Hayley's next move is going to be," he told TV Line. "I don't want to say too much, but I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that Hayley will look to find a way — either by using her own vampire power or by using a witch — to try to communicate with [everyone in the dream world]. She has a giant puzzle to figure out in order to cure everyone, and given that they're dying from a wolf bite, I think you can guess who she might turn to."
Davina was a fan-favorite and viewers were devastated when she died. On the other hand, there may still be hope for her since the show has a supernatural theme which makes everything possible. Her death was the reason why Marcel wanted revenge, but if she comes back, he might eventually forgive his enemies.
The network has yet to announce an official premiere date for "The Originals" season 4, but the series is expected to return early next year.
