'The Originals' Season 3 spoilers news: Who will fulfill the prophecy of the Mikaelsons' 'end?'

The previous episode of CW's supernatural drama thriller "The Originals" have been a mixture of both fortunate and unfortunate events. For starters, the Mikaelson family has succeeded in defeating their greatest enemy yet. However, in order for the Original vampires to take down such a powerful foe, they needed to sacrifice someone who had been a huge part of their family for the past three seasons. With this development, an unlikely foe will rise and pose a threat to the Mikaelsons as he could possibly the one described in the prophecy to bring an end to the Originals.
The episode started off with Davina Claire (Danielle Campbell), lying lifeless on the floor after his boyfriend Kol Mikaelson (Nathaniel Buzolic) was set in motion by the ancestors to suck the blood of the young witch until the very last drop. Davina's adoptive father, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), asked the help of the Mikaelsons, particularly the centuries-old witch Freya Mikaelson (Riley Voelkel) to bring her back. However, the ancestors were already ganging up on Davina in the underworld as they are holding a grudge against her. Luckily, Freya managed to save Davina's spirit from being dissolved forever by the ancestors.
Meanwhile, Lucien (Andrew Lees) was planning to make the lives of the Mikaelsons, especially Klaus (Joseph Morgan) a living hell by targeting the youngest sibling, Rebekah (Claire Holt). Having the power greater than an Original and the venom of all werewolf clans imbued to his vampire fangs, Lucien was basically unbeatable. In order to defeat him, the Mikaelsons should come up with a powerful magic to strip Lucien of his enhanced vampire abilities. This could only be done by using the magic of the ancestors that granted Lucien invincibility.
Freya, without having any choice, decided to use Davina's spirit as a conduit to steal the ancestor's magic from the underworld. However, in order to do this, they sent Davina's spirit back to the underworld. From there, the ancestors began their sinister plan to dissolve Davina's spirit completely, rendering any efforts to resurrect her impossible. During the Mikaelson's final showdown with Lucien, Freya was able to undo the magic that made the villain an enhanced Original vampire. Lucien was reduced to a less powerful non-original vampire, and Klaus finally killed his first sire once and for all.
However, in the last two episodes of the season, Marcel is fuming mad with the Mikaelson's action just to defeat their enemy. As he is both a close friend and considered as a part of the family, he could be the one described in the prophecy to spell the end of the Mikaelson family, CelebDirtyLaundry reported. Freya also noted that Marcel has the serum that made Lucien an invincible vampire, thus making him more dangerous as ever.
