'The Night Shift' season 3 finale spoilers news: TC goes to extremes to find medication for hundreds of patients

Scott (Scott Wolf) and Jordan (Jill Flint) remain trapped in the middle of a wildfire while TC goes out of his way to get medication for hundreds of patients in the upcoming season 3 finale of NBC's hit medical drama "The Night Shift."
After being called to do a rescue mission, Scott and Jordan's lives will be jeopardized after the wildfire quickly intensifies. TC will also have a lot to deal with since he is compelled to do everything in his power to get medications for hundreds of patients in the Syria-Turkey border. According to the official synopsis for the last part of the finale titled "Burned," Scott and Jordan will be forced to perform surgery in the field while the burning wildfire around them continues to intensify. While tending to patients in the Syria-Turkey border, Syd (recurring guest star Jennifer Beals) has caught Typhus which will make the situation worse for TC who must now work on his own.
In an attempt to get Typhus medication, TC resorts to extreme measures. Back in the hospital, Drew (Brendan Fehr) and Rick (guest star Luke Macfarlane) will both fight to keep Brianna (guest star Kyla Kenedy). San Antonio Memorial unexpectedly finds an unlikely buyer, however, it will be revealed that saving the hospital must come with a cost.
The show's final episode is set to air next week, but NBC still has yet to announce an official renewal. Cartermatt predicts that the medical drama is far from being canceled since it remains as one of the top-rated scripted network TV shows this summer. Over the course of this season, the show earned a 0.8 and a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic, with its season-high in July.
