Fox News Channel is set to reveal the identity of the man who fired the shots that killed Osama Bin Laden. This revelation will be made in a special titled "The Man Who Killed Osama Bin Laden" that will air on Nov. 11 and 12 at 10-11 p.m./ET.

The Fox special will be hosted by Peter Doocy, the news channel's correspondent in Washington. It will primarily feature an interview with the former Navy SEAL who will share details of his training. The interview will also delve into his role in the mission code-named "Operation Neptune Spear" which led to the death of Bin Laden in the city of Abbottabad, Pakistan.

The interview is expected to provide details on the terrorist leader's death after a team of U.S. special forces raided his hideout on May 2, 2011. Deadline also notes that the special "will explore the events inside the terrorist compound while President Obama and his Cabinet watched from the White House."

This interview on Fox follows an interview that the former Navy SEAL member gave to Esquire. In that interview titled "The Man Who Killed Osama bin Laden...Is Screwed," he described the build-up to the raid that killed Bin Laden, and the three shots that he took to kill him.

However, the interview in Esquire was questioned by many who felt it was not accurate as the shooter was not identified by name. The upcoming Fox interview could thus be seen as an attempt to give legitimacy to the views of the former Navy SEAL who claimed that he was the one who killed Bin Laden.

In the Esquire interview, the former Navy SEAL team member also described how he and his family have fared in the aftermath of Bin Laden's death. He noted that the US government has failed to help him and other SEAL members after they retired from the military.

SEAL members are considered as some of America's most skilled soldiers.
