'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' release date news 2016: Launch leaked via Nintendo's European website
The official release date for "The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" may have been accidentally leaked after a "4/3/2017" launch date has been displayed in Nintendo's European website.
Before anything else, it is important to note that Europe follows a day, month, and year format which translates the date to March 4 instead of April 3, as some non-European residents might assume. The launch date information was originally shared on Reddit, leading many fans to believe that the hotly-anticipated gaming console from the company, the Nintendo NX, will also hit the market on or before the said date. "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" serves as a launch title for the console, and Nintendo has previously announced that the device will be available by March 2017.

Rider Link, Guardian and Archer Link will be available on the mentioned date, and amiibo figures usually arrive on or after the game they're connected with hits the shelves. This could mean that release of upcoming action adventure game "Breath of the Wild" falls on or before the same date.
On the other hand, there are still lingering questions regarding the title's release date. There are speculations that the date is just a placeholder for the company to display the new amiibo figures.
According to a report by Games Radar, if the date in question lands on a Saturday and Nintendo decides to set a European release on a Friday, it would be still reasonable if they plan on setting a single worldwide release date.
Nintendo still has not given a statement on the latest developments for "The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." After previous delays, a release date for the game has yet to be announced.
