Naughty Dog has expressed the possibility of having a sequel to its highly successful post-apocalyptic third-person shooter game, "The Last of Us." However, the game developer company has been very busy for the past few months, especially with regards to its most recent project that is "Uncharted 4." There are rumors that Naughty Dog is already working on "The Last of Us 2" as its schedule is no longer full with the release of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." Further supporting the speculations of "The Last of Us" sequel's development is the job listing posted by the company just recently.

Naughty Dog posted a job listing on its official website that sparked suspicions that the company is already looking for new talented game designers that will aid in the development of "The Last of Us 2." Also, Naughty Dog lead game designer Emilia Schatz also tweeted regarding the possible new members of their team as a level designer.

"Looking for level designers, especially if you have art and modeling experience. Want to help make ND's next game?" Schatz's tweet stated.

It is common for different companies to post job openings and announcement in Twitter or in any other social media website, and the recent job listing posted by Naughty Dog may or may not have any relevance to the rumored "The Last of Us" game sequel. However, the news website Yibada noted of the word choice in the announcement which suggests that the job positions being offered by Naughty Dog is actually for "The Last of Us 2" game designers.

Specifically, Naughty Dog's job announcement pertains to "fun and emotionally engaging third-person action gameplay and levels, from high concept planning to object placement and scripting." Given that "The Last of Us" is a third-person shooter video game and its storyline is emotionally engaging itself, there is a chance that the job listing is actually for the sequel.

Meanwhile, an Easter egg shown in an epilogue scene in "Uncharted 4" may also be a hint of the ongoing development of "The Last of Us 2," Game N Guide reported. In the particular scene in the game, there is a poster of a pregnant woman wearing a gas mask and wielding a gun. The caption of the poster is "The Last of Us: American Daughters." Many gamers see this poster as a teaser for the much-awaited continuation of "The Last of Us" chapter.
