There has been little information shared by Naughty Dog regarding the rumored sequel of the highly popular apocalypse shooter video game "The Last of Us." However, the game developer company might have included some hints in their present game project which suggests that "The Last of Us 2" is definitely happening.

Those who are playing Naughty Dog's another big hit video game "Uncharted 4" have noticed a poster which shows a pregnant woman with a very insinuating caption. The description of the poster reads as "The Last of Us American Daughter." While some of the players may believe that the inclusion of this poster in the gameplay is nothing but to pay homage to Naughty Dog's other game, there are fans who think that this is a teaser for the impending "The Last of Us" sequel. As reported by HNGN, the girl in the poster looks a lot like Ellie, one of the main protagonists of "The Last of Us." It was reported that many game analysts do recognize the girl in the poster as Ellie, only that she appears to be having a child.

The poster could be a sneak peek of the events that have happened after the ending of the first game. Ellie could have gotten pregnant, and the baby she is carrying in her womb may also have the same immunity to the virus. While nothing is confirmed at the moment, the poster may be a glimpse of a different game storytelling when the sequel comes out. To add, the poster also shows the logo of Dark Horse Comics, which is the partner publishing company of Naughty Dog in their previous game projects.

Naughty Dog already stated the possibility of having "The Last of Us 2' being released in the future. In an interview with PlayStation Magazine via Games Radar, Creative Director Neil Druckmann said that the production of "The Last of Us 2" may only start rolling after they have finally released "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," which was the game they were working on at the time of interview.
