'The Last Guardian' guide, tips and tricks: how to control Trico and everything all players should know

It took almost 10 years to complete "The Last Guardian," which is why it is just understandable for players to expect highly of it. Now that it has arrived, players are now looking for better ways to control Trico. Here are practical guides, tips and tricks to do so.
The hybrid combination of the mammal and bird character has got the players figuring for hours how to command it efficiently. Fortunately, there are genius players who were quick to realize what buttons to press in order to navigate the ever so reliable companion.
The first thing that "The Last Guardian" players need to do is to remember that R1 is an important button as it is the one to press when calling Trico. In fact, it is always used to perform several commands. It is important to note too that it is up to the players if they want to call Trico or not.
If Trico is called, there are several combos that need to be pressed altogether in order to perform certain commands. For instance, the R1 and X will command Trico to sit, but this can also be used when scolding the hybrid buddy.
Pressing R1 and O means the player is commending Trico, but it can also be used to make Trico stand. R1 + Triangle commands the giant buddy to stomp, R1 and directional keys to command Trico to a certain direction and R1 and square to command it to swipe.
One tip, though, the reliable companion will not perform the commands if the space in their devices is limited for execution. Players will realize this when Trico begins to whine.
Players must have surely noticed that Trico only makes certain sounds and therefore could not express what is wrong. So, if it howls or grunts while searching for a specific direction, a player needs to jump on its back and navigate it. Whining means the feathered creature needs attention.
Even though "The Last Guardian" received criticisms due to its alleged performance issues, Trico may be the reason why players will enjoy hours of gameplay just by taking care of the hybrid mammal.
