'The Hunger Games 3 Mockingjay' Part 1 Release Date, Spoilers: Sneak Peek Features Peeta
The Hunger Games franchise is set to add another blockbuster to its name when "Mockingjay: Part 1" hits the big screen on November 21, 2014.
In the first official clip from the movie that was released recently, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) discovers that Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) is alive.

Peeta is seen describing his experience in the second film "Catching Fire" which centered around the Quarter Pell. At the end of that film, Katniss was evacuated from the arena while Peeta was left behind.
In the clip, Katniss, who is seen with Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth), sees Peeta while she is living in District 13, which is not under the control of the Capitol.
The latest clip is one of the many trailers and TV promos that have been released for "Mockingjay: Part 1." Some of the other trailers have seen Peeta talking to Katniss and urging her not to go to war as it would end badly.
The Hunger Games franchise is based on the bestselling books written by Suzanne Collins. Part 1 and Part 2 of "Mockingjay" are based on the final novel in the series titled Mockingjay.
There is a lot of excitement about the release of the movie. This was evident during the advanced selling of the movie's tickets last month. The film sold more tickets on its first day compared to the first day advance sales of any other movies released in 2014.
The "Mockingjay, Part 1" advance sales made up over 80 percent of the daily sales on Fandango.
The cast of film has also been the subject of much speculation following the death of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, who plays the role of Plutarch Heavensbee in the two previous films. US Magazine notes that "Mockingjay Part 1" will feature the final appearance of Hoffman and that it will not be a digital recreation or a hologram as was earlier rumored.
In addition to Hoffman, the film features Julianne Moore as President Coin and Natalie Dormer as Cressida.
