null

The sixth season of The Good Wife is underway, and it has been a thrilling ride right from the premiere, when Cary was jailed for helping Lemond Bishop evade arrest when trafficking drugs. Since then the season has progressed with Diane Lockhart joining Alicia Florrick and Cary Agos in their firm. However, the burning question on everyone's minds currently, is whether Alicia will end up running for the post of State's Attorney.

Whether Alicia Florrick played by Julianna Margulies would run for the post, first came up in the finale of season five. Over the first three episodes in season six, Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) has been trying to convince her to join the contest, but Alicia had always resisted. In the third episode that was just show in the US, Cary is out of jail on bail, and Alicia is still not running but events change her thinking.

According to the clip from the fourth episode titled Oppo Research on Enstarz. Alicia finally decides to run for State's Attorney and is informing her mother about it. So it looks like the chance run in with Gloria Steinem and her growing dislike of James Castro in the third episode, caused her to change her mind. In the clip she is seen looking at a file with a list of skeletons from her past that might create problems for her if she ran. So with Alicia making up her mind to run, will it mean she will no longer be able to work with Cary and Diane?

Well as per TVLine, Alicia will not have to give up her job in Florrick-Agos if she runs because Chicago laws allow attorneys to keep their job and run for the post of State's Attorney. Enstarz is also reporting that Cary Ago might even be killed by Bishop to keep him quiet.
