Jesus (Noah Centineo) dreams of a terrible alternate reality while he recovers in the hospital on the upcoming episode of Freeform's family drama "The Fosters" season 4.

Titled "Dream a Little Dream," next week's episode will see Jesus dreaming about trying to save Mariana. According to the official synopsis, Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum) continue to pray for the recovery of their son, Jesus. While still in the hospital fighting for his life, Jesus dreams of an alternate world wherein he attempts to rescue Mariana(Cierra Ramirez) but can't reach out to her. The moms are already stretched thin, and they will become more stressed out when they learn that Callie(Maia Mitchell) is facing some serious legal trouble. Brandon tries to keep his family together, while Mariana finds comfort in Mat's (Jordan Rodrigues) company.

Tuesday's season 4 premiere left off with Callie going to the police station to give a statement without informing her parents. Detective Gray (Alex Skuby), the person responsible for putting Kyle (Adam Irigoyen) in jail for Mrs. Johnson's murder, was alerted about Callie's testimony. As a result, Callie's effort to give a statement has become an interrogation that could put her in prison for leaving a scene of an accident.

Going forward, Mitchell revealed that Callie's recent testimony is just one of the many problems she will face this season. The actress spoke with TV Guide, and she explained what could happen to her character and why she didn't tell her parents about the incident.

"Technically, if you leave the scene of a crime or a car accident, it's technically a hit and run. It's a felony," she said. "I don't think she has that information. Thinking she's doing the right thing, goes to the cops rather than going to the parents... She's got a lot of things to worry about and a lot of potentially really difficult situations to squeeze herself out of," she added.

The fourth season of "The Fosters" airs every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
