Fans are excited to know that the popular "Flashpoint paradox" storyline will make it to the third season of "The Flash." However, it appears that the consequences of the actions of Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) in the Season 2 finale will also affect the story of other DC superhero TV series, specifically "Arrow."

The Green Arrow himself, Stephen Amell made a teasing statement regarding the possible effect of the Flashpoint paradox to the storyline of "Arrow" Season 5. In a live Facebook event, Amell revealed that the events in "The Flash" Season 3 could have some implications for the fifth season of "Arrow," Cosmic Book News reported.

To recall, Barry tried to change the course of history by going back in time to save his mother, Nora Allen. As he is now fast enough to travel through time, he attempted to stop Reverse Flash in killing his mother when he was still a kid. Little did he know that the consequences of his actions will be very huge, once he wakes up to a new present timeline.

On the other hand, CW Network and "The Flash" showrunners Greg Berlanti and March Guggenheim have not yet confirmed if the Flashpoint paradox in "The Flash" Season 3 will also affect other DC TV series.

Further supporting the Flashpoint plot in "The Flash" Season 3 is actor Carlos Valdes, who made a few revelations regarding the future of the series in front of the panel at MegaCon. Valdes stated that the viewers can expect a "different" Season 3, possibly due to a new present timeline revised by Barry.

"All I'm going to tell you is things are going to be different, way different... Not in a bad way, I think in a really exciting way, and it's that difference that's going to inform Barry's trajectory throughout the season, and I think people are going to like it," Valdes said as quoted by Screen Rant.

The Flashpoint paradox storyline is first introduced in the Flashpoint miniseries written by Geoff Johns, where Barry was shown going back in time where he unknowingly changed a lot of things in the past. His actions have resulted to a very different timeline at the present. Moreover, the new alternate timeline will see Barry not having his speed force while the rest of the world is "filled with dark, twisted versions of the heroes and villains he knows."
