'The Flash' season 3 spoilers: Barry realizes negative consequences of Flashpoint in episode 2

Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes the effects from Flashpoint are much greater than he initially expected in the upcoming episode of The CW's hit superhero drama "The Flash" season 3.
Titled "Paradox," next week's episode of season 3 delves deeper into the aftermath of Flashpoint. According to the official synopsis, Barry will see more of the serious changes caused by his decision to travel through time. Meanwhile, Barry will also meet a new co-worker named Julian Albert (Tom Felton). During their first encounter, Barry will be confused and surprised by Julian's immediate disdain for him.
The network recently released two promo clips for Tuesday's episode. In the sneak peak titled "Big Mistake," viewers will see Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) show up and explain to Barry how altering the timeline could lead to several negative consequences. He won't be the only character appearing from another Earth because Harry and Jesse will also be in the episode. Later, it will be revealed that Jesse has speedster powers similar to Barry's.
In the other trailer titled "Paradox," fans are given a preview of the other highlights in the upcoming episode. As seen in the clip, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is experiencing some trouble in his current version of the timeline. While attending a grief support group, a distraught Cisco tells Barry that he wasn't there for him. There are speculations that part of Cisco's pain may be caused by the death of his brother, Dante.
Candice Patton, who plays Barry's love interest Iris in the show, recently caught up with Mashable and she talked about how the two characters' dynamic will change after Flashpoint. Although Iris' relationship with Barry will remain strong, the actress revealed that it wouldn't be smooth-sailing.
"Overall they are OK, and they still have the desire to create a relationship with each other, but things are changed and they'll come to find out that there are parts of that final scene that we saw at the end of Season 2 with Barry and Iris that Iris doesn't remember happening," she hinted. "I won't say too much about what that is, but you find out that everything's different and people's memories are changed."
The third season of "The Flash" airs every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
