Potterheads probably know by now that Tom Felton will be joining the cast of the third season of "The Flash." Even Though Felton will be taking on a different character, the show will be making a number of "Harry Potter" references in the show.

"Cisco will continue to make pop culture references. We're, generally speaking, not afraid to have a little bit of a meta-moment," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly.

Felton will be portraying CSI tech Julian Dorn in the upcoming show. Dorn will be the first character to crack a "Harry Potter" joke. Felton even told the news outlet that he is excited about the references. In the interview, the actor seemed unsure about the references but he was pretty confident about the writers' creativity.

Executive Producer Todd Helbing revealed that Felton's Dorn is a direct result of Flashpoint. Fans are excited to see Felton in the upcoming season; however, fans might wait for the second episode to see him. Dorn will not be appearing in the premiere episode.

Felton will be introduced in the second episode of season 3, titled "Paradox." Allen and Dorn's first meeting will be in the second episode, and immediately, the former will notice that the latter doesn't quite like him.

Furthermore, Helbing admitted that Dorn is going to be Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) rival of sorts. Dorn will be sharing an office with Allen at the Central City Police Department. He said, "Barry's had that lab to himself, but now he's got to share it with this guy, who doesn't really like him and is kind of prickly."

Reports say that the unfriendly relationship between the two is only in the initial stages of their relationship.

Photos released by EW revealed Felton's Dorn in the lab with Allen. Another photo showed Dorn investigating a crime scene with Allen and Joe West (Jesse L. Martin).

"The Flash" will be returning to The CW on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 8 p.m. EDT.
