'The Flash' season 2 spoilers: Iron-masked man's identity to be revealed in the next episode?

"The Flash" season 2 returns to TV screens next week after a few weeks of hiatus. The latest episode is titled "Versus Zoom," and with only a few episodes left before the season wraps up, fans are expecting to find out who the masked man in Zoom's lair really is.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Zoom actor Teddy Sears did not give further details regarding the unknown man, but he tried to give something for the fans. "I can promise that it will be revealed and it will be quite satisfying," the actor said.
According to iDigital Times, there are speculations that either Henry Allen or Eddie Thawne might be the masked man. The departure of Barry's father from Central City after being released from jail and leaving Barry to be with the West family seems "fishy" to the fans. Meanwhile, Eddie's death may have been for the good of everyone because modern-day Eobard Thawne was prevented from existing ever again. After being sucked into a wormhole, where his remains wounded up was never confirmed. This led viewers to believe that there might be something more to his death that what it appeared to be.
TV Line interviewed showrunner Andrew Kreisberg last February, and he said that viewers will have to anticipate the finale episode where the masked man's identity will be revealed. "The mystery of the Man in the Iron Mask will play out over the rest of the season with some clues being layered in along the way," he said. "I don't think you can assume anything that Jay has said to the team or the audience is the full truth. It is a version of the truth," Kreisberg added.
The Futon Critic recently released the synopsis for "Versus Xoom," which reads:
BARRY IS READY TO FACE ZOOM; HUNTER ZOLOMAN'S STORY IS REVEALED - Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry (Grant Gustin) believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) and wants to open the breaches to catch him. Harry (Tom Cavanagh) strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco (Carlos Valdes) has the power to re-open the breach. Meanwhile, Hunter Zoloman's (Teddy Sears) painful story on Earth-2 is revealed.
The latest episode of "The Flash" season 2 airs Tuesday, April 19, 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST on The CW.
