'The Elder Scrolls 6' release date update 2016: Game may not be launched anytime soon

For fans of the long-running game series "The Elder Scrolls," it seems that they might wait a little longer for the release of the sixth installment after rumors surrounding the game have been played down by the gaming developers.

Many figured that "The Elder Scrolls 6" should just be around the corner, and with E3 2016 just days away, many believed that it could be the perfect time and place for the game to appear.

The series has been highly successful since its emergence back in 1994. Its last release was "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim," which was launched a few years ago. That game sold over 20 million copies across different platforms and is considered one of the best games in recent years.

This has made Bethesda attract a huge following, and following a tweet back in February, many thought that a new "TES 6" game could be in the works.

But these may be temporarily on hold as Bethesda's vice president of PR and marketing Pete Hines claims that the team is trying to produce materials that are of quality and that, of course, takes time to develop.

Furthermore, it appears that the developers are concentrating on other games like "Fallout 4." That game has also been met with such hype that it is very likely that Bethesda just wants to keep churning out DLCs for them.

Recently, they did release one for "Fallout 4" entitled "Far Harbor," which is considered heavy content as they have concentrated on gameplay, graphics and other notes that have resulted in rave reviews.

If that is any indication, then people should be fine waiting for the sixth "The Elder Scrolls" as the developer wants to make sure that they do everything to release the perfect game for the fans.
