Apparently, they based their speculation on the timeline of releases of the previous installments. "The Elder Scrolls'" titles were released 4 years apart from each other. Since the company has just rolled out the "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" in 2015, there is a big possibility that the new installment will come in 2019.

According to a report by First Post, although it is quite clear that Bethesda follows a certain timeline in releasing game titles, fans are still positive that "The Elder Scrolls 6" will come out anytime soon. There are reports circulating all over the internet that the game developer may launch the fifth sequel of the game sometime in 2017. What's interesting is, there are also reports suggesting that Bethesda is preparing to reveal the game at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016. The yearly event has been scheduled to happen in June at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

However, these reports have yet to be confirmed by the game developer, who has continued to stay mum about the development of "The Elder Scrolls 6."

Meanwhile, previous reports coming from various online publications suggest that the company is currently focusing on their present game titles. According to reports, Bethesda's concentration as of the moment is on "Fallout 4."

According to Christian Times, the setting of "The Elder Scrolls 6" will be on the muddy island of Black Marsh popularly known as Argonia. If rumors prove to be true, players will finally be able to step on one of the nine provinces in Tamriel.

For now, fans will have to wait for Bethesda to make the game official.
