'The Division' DLC news, update: 'Underground' set to release on June 28?

Ubisoft has been quiet regarding the release date of the upcoming DLC pack of Tom Clancy's "The Division." The next expansion pack to the highly successful game title, "Underground" is expected to be released sometime this year. However, if the rumors are correct, fans of the video game may not need to wait any longer as a recent product leak may have already revealed the launching of the new DLC, which is expected to be on June 28.

According to a report from Express UK, Amazon Germany posted the release date for "The Division" very first Season Pass DLC. According to the game listing on their website, the scheduled release of the "Underground" DLC is on June 28.

However, not all "The Division" players will be delighted by the earlier release date of the new DLC pack. The listing of "Underground" DLC also reveals that the expansion will only be made available for Xbox One users on June 28. Those players who use other home consoles such as PlayStation 4 are not expected to have the new "The Division" DLC by then. As reported by Parent Herald, the PS4 and PC platform versions of the video game will have the DLC a month later. It is expected that all other non-Xbox One users can experience the new contents of "Underground" sometime in July, and many believe this is because of 30-day Xbox One exclusivity of "The Division."

In terms of the new featured contents in "Underground," it is expected that the players can have access to a brand new set of weapons, items and attack combinations. Also, "The Division" will visit the new dark form of New York City, with a number of very dangerous enemies lurking around. The players together with their chosen agents are expected to survive the place by fighting the deadly foes and escaping the city's maze.

Hardcore Gamer reported that "The Division: Underground" DLC will be made available for those who purchased the Season Pass costing $39.99 each. The DLC itself can be purchased individually for around $20.
