Red (James Spader) confronts his arch-nemesis once again in the upcoming fall finale of NBC's thrilling action drama "The Blacklist" season 4.

Titled "Dr. Adrian Shaw: Conclusion," next week's episode will feature yet another action-packed storyline as Red continues his fight against Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen). According to the official synopsis for episode 8, Red pressures Dr. Shaw (Linda Emond) to find the location of a former patient. Elsewhere, Liz (Megan Boone) begins thinking about the implications of her ties to an increasingly desperate and dangerous criminal. Meanwhile, Mr. Kaplan (Susan Blommaert) finds herself in a situation that forces her to contemplate her future.

NBC has recently released a promo clip for "The Blacklist," and it promises an episode filled with unexpected revelations. "After 4 seasons the answer you've been waiting for is here," the sneak peek teases. The video also shows an explosion that takes place in a hospital, and Liz won't let Kirk out until he gives her answers. However, Kirk manages to get out of the hospital and takes Liz with him. "You will help me one way or another," he tells her.

The fall finale will surely put viewers on the edge of their seats, as it was also previewed that Kirk will get a hold of Red and torture him. Kirk asks Red the same question everybody has been asking all along: "Are you her father?" Red simply replies, "What do you want me to say?"

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Jon Bokenkamp hinted that Red's suffering won't be too long since he already has a plan. "The task force believes Reddington was racing to murder Dr. Shaw because she's a Hematologist who could save Kirk," Bokenkamp said. "However, as you may have come to expect, Reddington has a plan and I'm pretty sure it's one nobody would expect."

Keep tuning in to "The Blacklist" season 4 every Thursday night at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
