'The Big Bang Theory' Spoilers, Recap: Penny And Leonard Fight
Penny and Leonard had one of their fights while Raj and Sheldon spent time in a steam tunnel in the sixth episode of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 8, which aired this week on CBS.
Titled "The Expedition Approximation," the episode featured Sheldon and Raj planning to go on an expedition to study dark matter in a salt mine. As expected even before making it to the mine, Sheldon had misgivings about it as there was no toilet available and he would have to use a bucket.
As seen in the promo clips, Sheldon and Raj eventually spent time in a steam tunnel to test their endurance for the expedition. But Sheldon starts getting a panic attack as he appeared to have a phobia for small spaces and once even had a panic attack in a car wash.
As for the rest of the show's eighth season, Entertainment Weekly has a list of spoilers we can expect to see. One deals with Stuart, who is currently staying with Mrs. Wolowitz as her caretaker. He will start adopting the role of a father to Howard which naturally causes Howard to feel weird.
As for Emily and Raj, whom we saw starting a relationship in Season 7, they will manage to remain together through the eighth season.
Viewers also saw that Penny has started a new job as a pharmaceutical rep, and now she is earning as much or perhaps even more than Leonard.
In "The Expedition Approximation" this made him feel insecure and was the cause of a fight. During the fight Leonard accused Penny of using her looks, specifically her manner of dressing, to make doctors buy products.
For "The Big Bang Theory" fans who are used to seeing the guys hang out in the comic book store, there is good news as the producers note that the store will soon reopen.
