Episode 18, titled "The Escape Hatch Identification," will see Raj (Kunal Nayyar) moving out of his apartment and being invited by Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) to take Sheldon (Jim Parson's) old room. The question is, how will the former resident of Apartment 4A take the news?

It can be recalled that Sheldon moved in with his girlfriend, Amy (Mayim Bialik), at Penny's old apartment, which is right across the hall of his former place. However, while he may have moved out of 4A, viewers can expect a lot of high jinks when he finds out that someone else may occupy his room.

Beverly, Leonard's mother (Christine Baranski), will be returning on "The Escape Hatch Identification." Her last appearance on the show was during the season premiere.

Meanwhile, Michael Ausiello, a Hollywood writer, who recently visited "The Big Bang Theory" set, teased the show's fans with an Instagram photo of Melissa Rauch, who plays Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz, in bed with an unknown man. The caption read, "The woman's got needs. And Howard's no longer meeting them. End of story." The writer refused to reveal more details about the character on his column in TVLine, so it is unclear yet if Bernadette and Howard's relationship is in trouble or not.

In another "The Big Bang Theory" news, the likelihood that seasons 11 and 12 of the show will be produced has significantly increased. Previous reports have said that the renewal was put on hold pending the stars' salary negotiations with the production company. However, Parsons, Galecki, Cuoco, Nayyar, and Simon Helberg reportedly have agreed to lower their salary by $100,000 in order to raise the salaries of Bialik and Rauch from $200,000 to $450,000.

Meanwhile, Variety reported that Iain Armitage is being eyed to star in "Sheldon," the spin-off of "The Big Bang Theory." The show will explore the growing-up years of Sheldon Cooper.

Episode 18 of "The Big Bang Theory" will air on March 9, Thursday, at 8 p.m. ET on the CBS Television Network.
