'The Big Bang Theory' season 10 spoilers, plot news: Boys struggle to complete their project on time; Raj discovers Bernadette's true feelings about her pregnancy in episode 3
Tensions will begin to escalate when the boys do not finish their government project on time in the upcoming episode of CBS' top-rating comedy "The Big Bang Theory" season 10.

Titled "The Dependence Transcendence," next week's episode will see the boys struggle to complete their project before the deadline. While the group pulls an all-nighter, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) tries an energy drink in order to stay awake, which might have a different effect on him. Meanwhile, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) both attend a "party" at Bert (Brian Posehn) the geologist's house. Raj (Kunal Nayyar) helps Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) clean out the future baby room, and he will learn about her true feelings about her pregnancy. Actor Dean Norris will return as Air Force Representative Colonel Williams in the said episode.
Speaking with USA Today, executive producer Steven Molaro hinted that the story will also explore how pregnancy will affect Bernadette. "It's been pretty well-known that she is not that big a fan of kids, and hadn't planned on having one," Molaro explained. "We'll see how having this baby unexpectedly has an effect on her emotionally and professionally."
On another note, Raj will still continue having relationships with Emily (Laura Spencer) and Claire (Alessandra Torresani). Although Raj's romantic life was not tackled in the star-packed premiere, Molaro assured fans that it will be a part of upcoming episodes. "He is still involved with [both Emily and Claire]," he told TV Line. "We've got to take care of other [storylines] that are in play before we can refocus on things like Raj's dating situation."
As for Sheldon and Amy's relationship, the couple will try moving in together, and their new living arrangement will make other characters' lives complicated. Since Sheldon has been sharing an apartment with newlyweds Leonard (Johny Galecki) and Penny, any change "touches everybody," according to Molaro.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
