CBS Network's "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 is coming soon. Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady's sitcom is expected to feature new characters and new storylines this season. Although the show has 10 seasons under its belt, the showrunners still managed to create new content that keeps fans hooked — Penny and Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) marriage, Bernadette's (Melissa Raunch) pregnancy, and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy's (Mayim Bialik) new level of intimacy to name a few.

Cuoco also posted a photo of the main cast on Instagram.

The cast appears to be as excited about season 10 as the fans. Cuoco's teasers are making everyone eager for the upcoming season since the season 9 finale ended with a pretty big cliffhanger.

Leonard's father (Judd Hirsch) and Sheldon's mother (Laurie Metcalf) most likely hooked up at Leonard and Penny's renewal of vows. Considering how Sheldon usually reacts to change, many say this could affect the entire dynamic. Sheldon and Leonard could end up breaking their friendship in the next season, or they could end up as brothers.

As previously reported, new characters will appear on the show in the upcoming season. Though the show has had a pretty long run, there is little information about Penny and her family background, aside from her dad who desired a son but got Penny instead.

Fans know from previous episodes that Penny has an unnamed sister, a brother named Randall, and a mother named Susan. Hopefully, fans will get to know more about Penny and her family this season.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will return to CBS on Monday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. EDT.
